Grand Teton National Park and Teton Wilderness

  • Saddle-up, hit the trails, and enjoy a naturalist tour of spectacular Grand Teton National Park - all in the same day! This is a wonderful option for those wishing to spend some time off the beaten path while also enjoying the most iconic vistas, wildlife, and sites in Grand Teton National Park.

  • Your guide will greet you at your place of accommodation at your scheduled pickup time. You will be then take the short trip up to Grand Teton National Park and its grandeur. We will use these morning hours to search for wildlife, take in iconic vistas, visit historical sites, and enjoy the surprises Grand Teton offers.

    We will arrive at the Wilderness Trails Outfitters guest camp and corral by mid-morning. From here you can enjoy some refreshments and prepare to depart on a 2 hour trail ride in the unspoiled Teton Wilderness. Enjoy solitude and the sound of clomping hooves as you make your way through forests, meadows, and streams, on the back of your gentle horse. Wildlife abounds here and animal sightings from horseback are common.

    Upon returning to the camp and corrals, you will eat lunch in the beautiful meadow setting that surrounds Wilderness Trails. After lunch, you will hop back into the tour vehicle that you arrived in and finish out your day with more stops in Grand Teton National Park on your return journey to Jackson.

  • Hotel Pick-up

    Experienced naturalist guide skilled in the art of improvising to cater to your interests. Communicate with your guide about what’s important to you!

    Flexibility in itinerary to include more or less time spent out of the car doing short hikes, additional or alternative sites, and allocation of time.

    Quality Binoculars and Spotting Scope

    Basic breakfast items, a variety of snacks and beverages, and a freshly prepared lunch and picnic at the Wilderness Trails camp.

    2 hour trail ride on a gentle, trustworthy horse with an experienced guide.

  • $1400 for 2 People. $275 per additional person. Max group size is 14 people.

    Guide gratuity not included. Recommended 10-25%.

    Park entrance fees not included. $20 per person. Payable by cash or credit upon entry in the park.

    If you or a member of your party is over 62 years old, a senior annual National Park pass can be bought for $20 dollars and will cover up to 4 people.

    An annual National Park pass is $80 and will cover up to 4 people.
